So, I have this sign in my kitchen, and I just love it and had to share....

The place where....Tea is sweet and accents are sweeter...Summer starts in April. Macaroni and Cheese is a vegetable. Front porches are wide and words are long. Pecan pie is a staple. Y'all is the only proper noun. Chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy. Everything is Darlin'. Someone's heart is always being blessed.

We started our morning with a birthday breakfast. We enjoyed eating a Hello Kitty cake before we loaded up in the car and headed for the indoor water park. 

The girls had a blast playing in the warm water, floating down the lazy river, sliding down the slides, swimming and splashing in the fun water.

Afterwards, we went to Bubba Gump's for a tasty dinner!

The following weekend, all the grandparents came to visit and celebrate Lydia's BiRtHdAy. Saturday, we went to the Fall Festival and enjoyed a delicious carmel apple. A first for the girls!

American Heritage Girls

Our girls, two of the four, Emma and Madelyn, have joined American Heritage Girls. It is a Christian organization, much like the Girl Scouts. The girls meet twice a month and love it! Lydia can't wait to be five so that she too can join the fun!

State Fair

Grand-daddy and Nana Eleanor took our family to the state fair. A first for all! The girls loved every minute of it! Corn dogs, cotton candy, lemonade, games, prizes, face painting, rides, and animals. A fun time had by all...

Multi-Tasker!

So, Stephen was out of town this week and I was a tad bit busy. Oh, I mean VERY BUSY!!! I remind myself each day that God does not give you more than you can't handle. So, this is just a peek at my afternoon:

I am doing three things at the same time. Only a gift that God gives women to do.

I am folding laundry with Abigail. Madelyn is busy doing school.  Emma and Lydia are in the tub. Are moms great or what???

Looks What's Growing......

Who would have ever have thought? A watermelon plant! Either the end of May or sometime the first of June, everything is a blur sometimes when things happen lately, but Madelyn decided to plant her watermelon seeds to see if they would grow. Well, they did! HUGE! I can't believe how big this plant has gotten! The yellow flowers are amazing and what a beautiful plant the watermelon plant makes! I can't wait to see some watermelons. I am keeping my eye on it and please stay tuned....

My baby is 2 Months Old!

Our New School Year.....

I can hardly believe that it's time for school! Our summer was for sure a busy one! It went by way too fast! Our family grew! Now, we have four lovely girls to home school! God has big plans for His wonderful children. I pray everyday for grace, patience, wisdom, knowledge, joy, happiness, everything needed to be a stay at home momma, a wife to my groom, and a home educator to my children. My dependency is on God everyday!

My little Abigail is almost 8 weeks old! She is such a cutie! She loves being held this way-it's her favorite! I think it's because she can see everything. She is much loved!

My 3 Year Old Can Hula Hoop!

Can you even believe it! I laugh so hard, tears are streaming down my face every time I see her Hula Hoop! She gets her arm going so fast, that she hoops even faster! I am simply amazed at her talent!

My Baby is 7 Weeks Old!

By the fourth child, things are a little bit different around the Cobb house. Poor Abigail, she was still taking the newborn bath on the counter, you know, the kind you still give to them when they have not lost their umbilical cord. Her bathtub was still in storage, until now! Her 7 week old birthday, she got a REAL BATH! She loved every minute of it! She enjoyed actually sitting in some NICE warm water for a change! YAY for bathtubs!

She is just too cute! And sooooo sweet!

Happy 6 Weeks to Our Baby Abigail!

Each week I enjoy putting at least one picture of the week she turned another week old. I love to see just how fast they grow. And fast it is! Actually, too fast!

This picture is not good of Abigail, but I love how everyone just loves her to pieces! I was not much on picture taking this week, Steve was out of town until Thursday, and I was in extreme pain with a root canal. So, when he got home Thursday, this is the picture I was able to capture. Abigail gets lots of attention around here....

Okay, so four children is a lot! Am I blessed and so thankful, YES! Is it hard, YES! Can I succeed, Yes, how, by God's grace and His wisdom. I believe I am going to memorize Proverbs 2 and 3. God's wisdom is the answer to being a tad overwhelmed. Did I say a tad, I mean A LOT! I am beginning to think that they should invent permanent makeup. I know they already have permanent lipstick and eyes, but I need the whole face, that way I can wake up in the mornings looking beautiful and as if I had some sleep around here. Then, I may need to be doing what those grandma's do out there, you know, the ollllld grandma's. They wrap there hair with toliet paper so there hair doesn't move. I need to seriously look into that! Finding the time to look half way good is almost impossible right now! I feel bad if I can't make it to the shower and at least put mascara on-yikes, I can be a little scary even to myself! You know how you see on tv those moms who do not do anything to themselves, yep, that is me! What, did I just admit that? Yep, I sure did! Snacks on the go, great invention! So, here is mine...

Okay, so I am hanging in there! I love my baby girl! Did I mention what I don't eat...great diet...no chocolate, no pizza, no milk, no red meat, no cheese and no caffeine! Anyone not nursing, should try it! It can be the "nursing diet". I will let you know how it goes.....gotta love motherhood....

Abigail is 5 Weeks Old....

Our precious baby girl is one month old! I am amazed each day how much love God gives a mother to love her children with abundance. I love the gift of being a mother to my four beautiful daughters-so blessed. I am soooooo blessed! I am so thankful to be able to stay at home with my girls and treasure each moment I am able to spend with them. Thank you Heavenly Father for the gift of motherhood.
