Back to School after a much needed break....

I loved waking up for a week and not having to do school. Such a refresher for all of us. Sleeping in, no routine, no school, just pure fun and enjoyment! I loved every minute of our week off, so much so that I gave Madelyn two options. A-we can double up school each week and finish by the first of May or B-not double up and finish up at the end of May. I crossed my fingers in hope she would choose A. And yes, I scored! We are pushing our brains to finish up by the first of May. I may be a hermit for the next month working hard...hard..hard..but it gives me an extra month before the baby comes to enjoy waking up late and doing extra fun things with the girls. When we finish, we are headed straight to the zoo to celebrate. Wild animals we are! HA! It gives us something to look forward to and celebrate a day at the zoo. I can't wait. I am very tired lately, but praying for strength and energy to teach the little children. YAY for homeschool!

Girls...Girls...and more Girls...

Our little chefs...Our little cooks...Our little cutie tooties...2 Nina's had these adorable aprons made for all the girls of the bunch. Way too cute. I have them hanging in my kitchen because the girls just love them. Adorable girls don't cha think?

Spring Break...

Spring Break was celebrated with Texans and cold weather. Not two that you probably would put together. We had a cold snap with cold air and cold rain. Two combinations that don't go well with one another and six kids. That's right, six kids.
Our home was a full house! We love family and lots of them. My dear cousin, Amy and her sweet husband, Jeremy (a favorite of my other half) (he fishes!) and her three kiddos and momma, whom we call 2 Nina's came with fun in their pockets! Each of my three girls had a buddy to pair up with. Our kids are the same age and yes, we are pregnant again together. You heard right, our baby number 4 is on their way! God must have some really big plans for our children.
We had a blast despite the weather. Steve planned a full schedule for all of us. Hiking, the park, Gatlingburg, shopping, fishing, cooking out, you name it, we did it. And everyone did it with a smile on their face. We had a blast with one another. So fun!

At the end of the week, we were all pooped! We were tired. Six kids for sure keep you on your toes. Never a dull moment. Always excitement!
